Another Dribbble shot for the books. This time it’s Navigation Bar by Jan Kaděra. I did my own interpreting for the hover. So please, give that nav a hover!

The navigation is typical list, where I primarily styled the anchor tags. I used pseudo elements to create edges for each button, which made it a snap on styling the hover. But getting the edges of the buttons just right was a task. I can still see that’s not exactly right, but I decided to walk away for now. I’ll save that for a rainy day.

This Pen made me realize how much I enjoy writing Haml; so much that I’m thinking about changing my default HTML setting to it on CodePen.
